I have been looking at my submission status details. It looks as if we aren't getting credit for all of our boxtops because of expiration dates. My question is this: If I mail the Boxtops on October 28th, and they expire on October 31st, do we not get credit for them? Do they have to get counted by Boxtops before they expire? We make sure that everything is not expired when they are mailed, but we still aren't getting credit for everything. I can't find any documentation for this on the website.

Also, are we allowed to make our own collection sheets, or do they have to be ones from the website? We are doing a hat day in February where the kids get to wear a hat on a certain day if they bring in the completed collection sheet. I would like to make my own with a had on it.

Thanks

Ann

If your submission was postmarked 10/28, then you should receive credit for the boxtops that expire on 10/31.  Call the office and speak to someone in person.  They have a record of what amounts you are receiving for boxtops, bonuses, etc.  and the reasons you are not receiving credit.  Question them!!!  I see no reason why you can't do your own sheets, that's why there are so many on the PTO site.  Just make sure that they can be combined to make 50. (like 5 ten sheets or 2 twenty-five sheets, etc)  I myself like the single 50.  They are easy to count and do not need to be stapled.

I've never came across BTFE that expire in Oct. All the ones I've received have always expired in June. Maybe the Oct. one are counterfit.

And I always make up my own sheets to go with the Holiday for that month or to match our schools spirit week for that month.
