Box Tops for Education

That's a cool idea, a Box Tops Crown!

I make earrings and pins with some of mine.  The kids go nuts over them and want me to make them as giveaways!  They attract a lot of attention which is just like free advertising.  I also make collage book marks with expired BTs and clip art.  I decorate folders to pass out at registration and etc.

My question is what can't you make with an expired BT  .... LOL LOL!!!

I have this idea to go to local businesses and ask them to match expired boxtops with a monetary donation to school. Something like a "Matching Grant" project that you would see non-profit organizations do. Unfortunatelly the coordinator at our school is not doing anything and I am tired to send emails with my ideas to him and PTA president. So if you like it - use it and get money for your school from a local community when btfe says "expired".

I used ours to cover a rubbermaid flip top garbage can that we use as a collection container.

Hello friends, it would be great if we could ignore the expiration dates and send them in anyway. And, it would also be great if there were no expiration dates on those awesome box tops. As soon as they are collected, they get brought to schools for redemption.  IT would also be great to see three more box tops on more products such as trash bags, frozen foods, packaged meats such as chicken,.  On fashions, gums, candy bars,.  Possibly on baked goods.. pies, etc in the Bakery department,. And, lets not stop there.. retail stores,.  On the tags,.  

When you go to a restaurant.. on receipts,.

Love it! I'm so boring compared to you.  I use them to decorate the collection boxes that I make for people's offices and the grocery store.  You are like a clever terracycler!

We have a football theme this year (we are a Fuel Up to Play 60 NFL Super School) so I made a black poster that says "Time Expired". A lot of our families had no idea Box Tops had expiration dates, so having this poster visible next to our earnings football field has been an eye opener.
